Who's the guy behind this blog?
Hello, guys!
My name is Timofte Adrian-Andrei.
I live in Sibiu, Romania and I am currently working as production engineer in automotive industry.
In my area of activity, I've acquired knowledge about mini-wave selective soldering and laser welding systems, together with knowledge about advanced industrial automation, control systems and process development.
After working hours I like to spend my spare time designing small things, trying to build useful contraptions and most importantly learning new technical skills by experimenting with different technologies.
I can say about myself that I'm an intermediate user of Fusion360 CAD software which I'm using for more than 2 years.
Because nowadays CAD knowledge it's somehow not enough if you don't have access to a manufacturing process that can turn your ideas into physical objects, I also own a Creality Ender 3 3D printer, the third 3D printer, first one being a CTC i3 Pro B, purchased just as a proof of concept to test my skills.
I've also extended my skills by using a small desktop CNC (3018 CNC type with some mods made by myself) which opened up new manufacturing possibilities.
My long term interest is to have knowledge that can be related to the new automation age that is about to get even more agresive in the years to come.
In this blog I want to present you my ideas and hopefully help others to generate new cool ideas and solutions for everyday problems.
Thank you for spending your time reading this blog! ✌😃👍
